Every year I get the opportunity to photograph the Lincoln Grand Prix. A cycle race that’s part of the HSBC British Cycling National Road Series, which is a series of races that tours the country with each race giving points that go towards an overall title at the end. I photograph the Lincoln race for the local news website The Lincolnite and have the privilege of being able to use the media cars the event put on to take us around the course and drop us at various points to get all the shots I wanted to get. Akēdo is Lincoln’s first gaming bar, owned by Toby Rovezzano. It opened in 2016 and offers customers the ability to play console games new and old with friends, all whilst having a few beers available from their bar. Toby took time out to chat with me about the current outlook for Akēdo.
